Hello again! I have something new for you this week. At the end of my article last week, I mentioned how Anastasia Magic was creating a Fat Pack Vendor for an easier, more versatile customer experience. This kind of initiative is what we need more of in SL! She saw a need, decided she was going to do something about it and did. It has been in the testing phase but is now in full release for businesses to purchase! I am proud to tell you all about it and introduce Anastasia to you.

My interview with Ana was done on voice, so no transcript this week. Let me explain the vendor to you all so you can see the detail she put into this amazing unit.

The vendor is made so any customer can see everything at a glance; the items offered, what Fat Packs available and the price (per the owner’s sign). The unit is attractive and well thought out. A main picture is largest and foremost on the unit. Below the picture, the choices are clearly labeled. Two, five, 10 or more packs can be set up by the creator to be purchased. To the right are the pictures of the items offered. The customer makes the choice of what is chosen and how many they want. Shoes? No need to get that shade of green (a personal un-favorite of mine) you will never wear. Maybe you’d like two or three different tank tops instead of the same one in eight different colors. For businesses that sell multiple items, maybe you love that skirt and this top and are willing to buy a third item to get the fat pack discount. So many possibilities and everyone wins. The customer gets what they really want and the business owner makes a sale!

I walked through a purchase to see what it was like. Please see picture for reference. I chose a three item fat pack. I received the following message:

**Ana M's Ski Vests: You now have a Fatpack Session Active With 3 Ski Vests Fatpack.

This tells you how many items you chose so you can be sure. You then start clicking the pictures to choose what you want. The rest of the transaction went as follows:

To end this Fatpack Session just Touch the Cancel Button.

To purchase your completed Fatpack, Pay this Fatpack Button 450L$.

Notice how detailed the information you are given. There is no guess work, and you can cancel the purchase or your choices at any time. Anything you can think of can be put into this vendor; Furniture, clothing, hair, shoes, jewelry or nails. The versatility of it doesn’t end. Another great point of it is the fact you can buy a single item from it as well. It can be used as a regular vendor so there is no need to go to two vendors.

For business owners, here are the specs. The first question a business owner has, or at least I do when I’m looking for a new item in my store is how many prims is it? That’s another issue Ana took into consideration. This unit is completely customizable. How many prims is up to you. Each button is a prim, so you have complete control over how primy or not the unit is. You can have as many fat pack sets you want. In addition you decide on how many items are made available. it’s all in your hands. Of course a close second to the first question is how much is it? Non-Copy versions of the unit are priced at $3,000L a unit. Considering everything this vendor does this is incredibly inexpensive. Personally, I’ve paid that much for sculpties or even displays and not blinked. A copy version is available as well. Anastasia has offered to personally go to each person who purchases a vendor and help them set it up and customize it to the owner’s specifications.

I can’t say how excited I am about this unit. The fabulous customer service, supporting one of our own looking to make our SL shopping easier and all the convenience for us as SL consumers and business owners just has to get you excited as well. We have a responsibility to ourselves to make this world what we want it to be. Our choices continually recreate our experiences here, not only for ourselves but for others too. Our much needed support for those that care about making our experience the best it can be just has to be a priority. I am trying to do my small part by telling you about great places and some not so great. Ana is one of the good ones and she has earned our support time and time again.
