Spotlight On...

It seems like an avie by the name of Orian Wirefly just came out of nowhere and started Djin' exclusive SLE Spotlight Parties On Thursday Nights...

 

Just like most jobs, many get them as direct references from friends. That was the case with Orian and I'm are so glad to have 'em as part of Team SLE .... BUT!

 Not much is known about him aside from, he seems to know my favorite 80's Songs and always keeps the atmosphere flowing as our regulars round up once a week to play shameless games of Truth or Dare and just carry on great conversation. The way a get together outta be.

So without further adue...Please Meet Orian Wirefly without the headphones and turntables.

 

Lanai: So...Who is Orian Wirefly?

Orian: Sometimes I ask myself the same question..I am many things to many people, but one truth remains the same. I am a self proclaimed discophile. That is a collector and lover of music. I have also been referred to as a dramatic performer. That would be referring to the way I take a theme for a show and run with it. Music is my life's blood.

 

Lanai: How did you discovery Second Life?

 

Orian: A friend of mine told me about it one day. She said I had to come check it out. I am always curious about new things so I said why not.. Shortly after that conversation.. Orian Wirefly was born.

 

Lanai: Would you consider yourself a shameless addict? It's OK most of us suffer from some form of SL addiction like strip clubs

 

Orian: Hmm, people say strip clubs like it is a bad thing. A little known fact about the Beatles is they used to play at a strip club in Liverpool backing up a stripper named Janice. so people have to start work somewhere.. even in second life. But as for my second life addiction. all i have to say is Damn you first life for interrupting!!

 

Lanai: Besides DJ for the awesome Tammy Toll over at Musicland Isle and The SLE Concert Grounds where else do you spin?

Orian: No where else at the moment. I am on a leave from Gothika and hope to be back there soon.

 

Lanai: What Genre do you usually play?

Orian: Usually? anyone who has been to my shows know there is nothing usual about them. With over 25,000 songs in my play list my shows vary as much as the people who attend. I truly like to feed off the crowd, so in truth is it what they want to hear.

 

Lanai: What other things do you like to get into here in SL?

Orian: Well I am proud to say I am a new family member in the Ravens Claw Clan. So role playing a vampire is fun for me. Also I am a shameless partaker of grid wide hunts. I love exploring new sims and catching the great live artists or second life. If you haven't been to a live show.. you haven't experienced second life. That is one of the reasons I am part of Muscland Isle.

 

Lanai: Do you have your Own Party Place?

Orian: I must admit, I did build a nice park in the sky complete with dance floor. but as of yet have not thrown any parties. now that that is out I should have one for my friends and family.

 

Lanai: With all the Drama in SL, Have you been a victim of a griefer or a bad Soap Opera Scene yet?

The reason I say yet is because, drama is almost inevitable here. 

Orian: Wow does that happen in second life? There is an idea for a new contest: Best dramatic performance in second life. Actually though there does seem to be the drama zones in second life there is only one I need to address and that is only to clear the air.

It seems someone in second life claims to have "Made me " who and what I am today. As I was molded in their image. Truth is I came to second life with over a year experience as an internet DJ with full inventory of music. I helped to start and build a radio station and train the DJ's there. I had over 20,000 songs when I logged in to second life for the first time. So for anyone to sit in second life and say.. "I made Orian Wirefly" is purely horse dukey. Those who "made me" are my friends of old who will only be spoken here as VKB and the people who have tuned in over time during my stint as a Net Dj and those who come to my performances here in second life. Without you.. I would be just another Avatar.

 

Lanai: Feel free to tell me to mind my business or....you can go ahead and spill the beans on what readers should know about you and which rumors are true..

Orian has a fetish that involves mayo and fly swatters? That's a pretty interesting fetish.. can you elaborate on that?

Orian: I would have to claim this one as false. Anyone who knows me knows I prefer Miracle Whip. And the fly swatter part well.. That is hard to explain with words.. perhaps after I can show you?

 

Mr. Wirefly Dj'd Nude and drunk on several occasions and a select few have the web cam evidence to prove it...

Orian: One time that happened. And let me state for the record.. least I be seen as a lush I was completely sober.

 

Orian is an awesome dood and will admit he has an exension collection of Porn at his private beach house.

Orian: Why thank you for the compliment. As far as porn is concerned no. I do have an extensive collection of "performance Art" or was it lack of performance art... can't remember how to classify it now.

 

Lanai: With SL being a place to live out a second existence for entertainment What advice can you give to those who make it their mission to be a pain in the ass to others?

Orian: There will always be haters and egotistical morons no matter where you go.. Do they need advice.. no they need help of the Freudian kind. i think we should make one grid, call it hell grid and put them all there and let them torment each other.

 

Lanai: What was the craziest thing you ever experienced in Second Life? It doesn't have to involved you... believe me just walking in a mall something crazy can happen and I've witnessed plenty.

Orian: this is a family publication I am not so sure I can speak about it here.

 

Lanai: If you were President of SL for a Day what would be your first order of Business? Second? Third? We all deserve 3 wishes.

Orian: President for a day... It is hard to answer as it is only for one day. First order would be to give everyone the day off from RL. Second order would be to book an entire days line up of artists I like to listen to. Third order would be to take a collection of souls. Now don't look at me all funny I am a Vampire after all.

 

Lanai: What do you think about the Censorship that will be taking place in SL?

Orian: There is an easy way around this.. make age verification mandatory. Perhaps that would step on toes.. but it would keep the kids of the adult grid.

 

Lanai: What's your view on Child Avies trying to chill at nightclubs? You don't have to answer that, I wouldn't want you to get kicked in the shins by the juveniles..

Orian: I wouldn't take my child to an adult establishment so why should child avies be there. Sure I know they are played by adults..but if you want to role play a child then you need to be treated as a child.

 

Lanai: Do you have any concerns about the Future of Second Life?

Orian: We need more people out there supporting Live music and the venues. People have no idea what they are missing if the aren't catching the live shows.

Lanai: If you had to chose a theme song to describe your Second Life what would it be?

Orian: Magical Mystery Tour by The Beatles

 

Lanai: So What's your Status in the romance department? This always a question avies seem to ask in more ways then one so I'm just come out with it. Single & Mingling or Locked down in Love?

Orian: Personal life is always so personal. Let me just Say that I am .. unavailable..

 

Lanai: Got any Prim babies or want any? the reason I ask is there is a growing epidemic of babies being neglected and kept in inventories...

Orian: No prim babies or expecting this is just a food belly... but do I want one.. well who knows what the future holds.

 

Lanai: and Last but certainly not least Inquiring minds wanna know... Are you a sock sock shoe shoe or a sock shoe sock shoe?
