Katherine: Well, I started this avatar out as a Birthday gift to my SL partner and from there I got in with Guns -n- Roses virtual tribute band and then decided that paying tribute to Kat Von D of Miami Ink. Full time would be an awesome way to spend my SL time. Not only do I have fun but I have made awesome friends and family.

Wurlitzer: Katherine, what is Tequila Tattoo and how did you get involved?

Katherine: Tequila Tattoo is my tattoo shop and I got involved by starting out making tattoos for my friends and family and everything just grew from there

Wurlitzer: Where is Tequila Tattoo located?

Katherine: We are located on my fathers sim; Free Santa's Gr8 Workshop 169,163,24.

Wurlitzer: What does Tequila Tattoo have to offer?

Katherine: Tequila Tattoo offers custom tattoos and the SL tattoo experience as well as customer service.

Wurlitzer: Where do you get your inspirations from?

I get my inspiration from my customers & people around me & my staff.

Wurlitzer: Have you had any former background training in graphics arts, and do you feel its important to be holding such a high degree when designing tattoos in Second Life?

Katherine: No I don't have any graphics arts training, but I do have staff that does have training.

Wurlitzer: Who are the staff involved with Tequila Tattoo & what are their roles?

Katherine: My design crew, I have Getalife Soon, who is my builder, GeorgeRoger Wisent, who takes my pictures and then there is my assistants, who help take care of my shop.

Wurlitzer: What made you decide to market Tequila Tattoo and how do you go about approaching that, Katherine?

Katherine: Actually talking with friends and family getting their encouragement and pursuing a dream. I always had friends and family to help me along my way.

The name Tequila Tattoo came form me doing research on Kat Von D and I came to her top 10 favorite. things and one of them was her favorite drink and it is Tequila. so me and my SL partner Chavez Munster came up with the name together based off that.

Wurlitzer: What was your first customer experience for Tequila Tattoo like?

Katherine: My SL daughter Mimi Bazar was my first customer experience it was a little scary and I was a lot nervous that I got it all right but I must have cause she came back for more :P

Wurlitzer: Are there any famous SL avatar's that you have inked?

Katherine: SL's Rob Zombie,Nikki Sixx, Corey from Slipknot as well as half of O.D Designs Staff plus a lot of people that I think are SL famous but thats another story. LOL

Wurlitzer: What are the price range for the items that Tequila Tattoo carries?

Katherine: 1K for full body 500L for half a body 350L for simple tats. It varies from there for other tattoos depending on how many uploads and such.

Wurlitzer: What are some of the issues that you've faced with Tequila Tattoo?

Katherine: The main one is people wanting full rights to tattoos and due to protecting my artists I will never sell transferable products.

Wurlitzer: Do you offer custom tattoos?

Katherine: Yes we mainly deal with custom tattoos we do have some tattoos for mass sale on the walls but we prefer custom so the customer gets exactly what they want out of their tattooing experience.

Wurlitzer: Who decided on the name Tequila Tattoo and how did that name come about?

Katherine: My SL partner and I did. Tequila is one of the real Kat Von D's favorite words so Ii figured it would add to the honoring of her if I incorporated it into my shop name.

Wurlitzer: Which tattoos are most popular for avatars?

Katherine: Dragons for guys and pixies or butterflies for girls.

Wurlitzer: Katherine, what are your favorite tattoos?

Katherine: I love all tattoos due to the fact that they are all art and a way for a person to express themselves

Wurlitzer: Have any customers requested any ideas/suggestions for Tequila Tattoo? If so, what were a few inspired ideas that customers have asked to tattoo?

Katherine: Most ideas come from our customers seeing as we mainly do custom work.

Wurlitzer: Tell us about a situation and the steps you took to respond to a specific customer complaint. How did the customer react? Was the customer satisfied?

Katherine: I tattooed a mermaid who forgot to tell me that she would need a jacket layer and when I asked if she was satisfied she said 85.9 % and i asked what would make it better and she said making it a jacket layer so I redid the tattoo in all 3 layers and from there on out I sold tattoos in all layers.

Wurlitzer: What are some groups that members can join regarding Tequila Tattoo, Katherine?

Katherine: Fans of Tequila Tattoo and Santa's Gr8 Workshop where we advertise any events and going ons to do with Tequila Tattoo.

Wurlitzer: How many times do you hold special group events for Tequila Tattoo?

Katherine: We are shooting for once a week but right now we have events and such about every 2 weeks.

Wurlitzer: Does Tequila Tattoo feature any sponsors?

Katherine: Elves Playground,Santa's Gr8 workshop,G.Q. Rock Merchandise And Shape Shop, OD Designs, Paradise City, And Bad Things.

Wurlitzer: What are your goals for the future of Tequila Tattoo?

Katherine: Changing the look of the shop, getting new staff and maybe expanding to one more shop.

Wurlitzer: What would you be doing, if you weren’t involved with Tequila Tattoo?

Katherine: Doing the band thing, being a true rocker.

Wurlitzer: What do you like to do in your spare time in SL, away from Tequila Tattoo?

Katherine: Hang out with family and friends and hanging out with bands.

Wurlitzer: Katherine, how do you see the future of Second Life to be?

Katherine: Regardless of what the future is, I will still roll with it. All my friends and family are here so I am here to stay.

Wurlitzer: 6 months from now...Where do you see Tequila Tattoo?

Katherine: I hope we will have more facts about tattoos out maybe have a second shop out and have our full staff such as Kimm Pixy Hannah and Correy.

Wurlitzer: What would you like to be known for in Second Life, Katherine?

Katherine: Just being a good hearted person and helping people anyway I can treating customers and everyone with the utmost respect. If fame comes than so be it if not its not the most important thing.
