Fire914 Flaman: We are 2 teams that consist of a builder and a scripter. Originally it was 2 separate companies EM and MH. We then merged together to form EMH.

Wurlitzer: What features does EMH Motors have to offer?

Fire914 Flaman:We specialize in cars but other vehicles such as boats can be found in our store.

Wurlitzer: How did you conduct your research as to building different cars for EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: Each person in the team must do their own research. The builder would have to find things such as reference images and vehicle dimensions. As a scripter my job is to try and create a script that will allow the car to be drivable and fun.

Wurlitzer: Do you create your own sculptured cars for EMH Motors or do you have somebody custom making them for you?

Fire914 Flaman: We do create all of our own content. Every once in a while we may partner with another person to create something new.

Wurlitzer: How long has EMH Motors been in Second Life for?

Fire914 Flaman: EMH has been around for about a year. But both EM and MH have been around for longer then that.

Wurlitzer: Has anybody helped you out with building EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: EMH Motors is owned by Me (Fire914 Flaman), Frageurs Hock, Luca Rosmer and Joblot Plasma.

Wurlitzer: How many visit EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: Our traffic count at the store is 1383.

Wurlitzer: What kind of unique items can you purchase at EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: Each one of our vehicles is unique in some way. We try to have something different for each one and as we continue to make new vehicles we try to make new features that haven’t been seen in Second Life.

Wurlitzer: Is EMH Motors more for exploring or purchasing items?

Fire914 Flaman: EMH motors is about having fun. We create each vehicle striving to achieve something new and different. It isn’t about buying or exploring only, we create art.

Wurlitzer: What are your future plans for EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: Currently we are opening increasing our water vehicles. We are always working on improving what we have. My personal goal is to be able to make cars that can be modified through a web page.

Wurlitzer: What are some of the drawbacks that your experiencing with promoting EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: I haven’t seen any drawbacks with promoting. Probably the only thing is that you unwanted attention, people that copy your products and begin to sell them or give them away as freebies.

Wurlitzer: Do you have any sponsors for EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: We don’t have any sponsors, we work on our own and sponsor our own track that is open to the public.

Wurlitzer: How do you go about promoting EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: The most important form of promotion for us is word of mouth. We try to make cars that people enjoy and they will use.

Wurlitzer: Other than EMH Motors, are there any other places that you have in SL?

Fire914 Flaman: I have worked on the SEAT sim and also I own Brisas del Mar estates.

Wurlitzer: What are some of EMH Motors main goals?

Fire914 Flaman: Our main goal is to create top quality vehicles, both the model and the script are most important to us.

Wurlitzer: Where is EMH Motors located?

Fire914 Flaman: EMH motors can be found on our own sim, EMH Motors.

Wurlitzer: If you didn't have EMH Motors, what would you have done instead?

Fire914 Flaman: Since I started SL I wanted to learn to script. The first thing I tried to script was a car so I think if I wasn’t with EMH I would probably be scripting vehicles with someone else.

Wurlitzer: Are you the same person in RL as you are in SL?

Fire914 Flaman: I find it hard not to be myself in SL. I’m not a good actor.

Wurlitzer: What would you like your future in SL to be?

Fire914 Flaman: For vehicles, I think it would be great to have a higher limit to the amount of prims in a group that can be physical. Our cars work on physics so they are limited to 32 prims. Each avatar on the car counts as a prim also so if we have a 2 seater car we are limited to 30 prims.

Wurlitzer: What do you do in RL?

Fire914 Flaman: I’m a Civil Engineering student that quickly gets bored of his RL work.

Wurlitzer: What do you like to do in your spare time in SL?

Fire914 Flaman: I like to explore and create. If I’m not scripting I’ll probably be off on some adventure looking for something to do.

Wurlitzer: What are some upcoming events you are having for the month of July?

Fire914 Flaman: We will be releasing some new cars and also we may have a race coming up.

Wurlitzer: Is there anywhere that you can go to, to keep up to date on the progress of EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: We have a group and mailing list. To join the group just IM me and I’ll be happy to send you a invite.

Wurlitzer: What makes EMH Motors different than most any other virtual places?

Fire914 Flaman: We have a wide variety of vehicles to choose from. Also near our store we have a race track that is open to the public that anyone can do a few laps and enjoy.

Wurlitzer: What are some of your favorite exhibits to visit at EMH Motors?

Fire914 Flaman: Our track is probably one of the most visited places within the EMH sims.

Wurlitzer: What are your some popular cars that people seem to like?

Fire914 Flaman: Everyone has there own favorites. Mine is the EMH Eclips. A lot of people also like the EMH Raidon and the EMH Cadi.

Wurlitzer: If somebody has an idea for a sculptured car to add to EMH Motors, who should they contact?

Fire914 Flaman: We don’t take custom orders but ideas or suggestions are welcome. For any ideas or suggestions you can contact any of the owners of EMH.
