Wurlitzer: Who are each of the people involved with the tribute band, and what are their roles?

Lia Chastity: Slash (Georgeroger Wisent) Duff Mckagan (Lia Chastity on Adem Carver) Axle Rose ( Quentin Lovencraft *Maska Tuck for this evening*) ) Izzy Stradlin (Regog Rivera *Razor Darkfold for this evening*) SloRide Tigerpaw (Pianist for normal shows) We also have various female dancers as well. Mostly we will allow someone from the sim or club or venue we are playing at to have a guest spot as one of the dancers Or hop on stage with us at times.

Wurlitzer: How did you all meet?

Lia Chastity: Well I used to manage a large club and was told Slash was coming to the club to hang out with the owner. I went nuts and dropped everything i was doing and came by. I ended up jamming with him and they all ended up coming by the whole band. They did a show for the club..... We were shocked. I ended up coming to most of their shows being a loyal fan. I worked my way up to where i am now with it.

Wurlitzer: How did the idea for a Guns and Roses tribute band get started?

Georgeroger Wisent: When i created my avatars for i created them for tribute acts and we were originally going to do Kid Rock. We decided to do Guns and Roses instead by suggestion from a leader of another organization that is popular in Second Life. I bumped into someone by the name of Ishamael2 Dagger for the actual reworking of the avatars. He changed my perspective on how the avatars would look and after that i became very detailed oriented on how the avatars would look. After that we just went from there to see how the Tribute band in SL would work and so far we are having a blast.

Wurlitzer: How many applied to be involved in the Guns N Roses tribute band?

Lia Chastity: Originally we had a full staff and many did apply to be in the band a few sponsors, lead dancers, and clothing designers that were sponsors as well.

Wurlitzer: How exactly does a virtual tribute band work?

Lia Chastity: We are hired, We perform to the best of our abilities. We have every band spot filled normally. We setup the stage, we have a DJ for the most part, and we just get up there and have a great time. For the dancers we do coordinate clothing and dances using a Chimera or a dance machine of some sort. The songs are a pre-made song list. Its basically getting up there and acting In honor of the Real life band.

Wurlitzer: Is this the first tribute band each one has been involved with?

 

 Lia Chastity: Yes it is

 Georgeroger Wisent: No i have done several other bands as well.

 Regog Rivera: Yes

 Quenton LovenKraft: Yes

 Maska Tuck: No

Wurlitzer: Why did you decide on a Guns and Roses tribute band?

Lia Chastity: Basically because of the avatars that were created. They were done first and we just developed the band around them. Plus we do love GnR in real life.

Wurlitzer: Who chooses the songs..the band..or the audience?

Lia Chastity: We as the band do but by recommendation from our audiences as well.

Wurlitzer: Have you ever received any reviews and if so by whom?

Lia Chastity: Yes her name was Mozy Pera, who was with an SL magazine at the time. Unfortunately the story was never published.

Wurlitzer: Who decided on choosing/hiring each member, and why?

Lia Chastity: We actually do the hiring as a family. We all make the decisions. Why? Because we are a team.

Wurlitzer: What are the strengths that each member brings to the group?

GeorgeRoger Wisent: I make sure the avatars are available for the concert. I do the actual "dressing" and the song lists and the advertisements.

Lia Chastity: I try to motivate the band members to get up and get going.

Regog Rivera: He brings his avatars and performances.

Quentin Lovenkraft: He does the Stages and the Lighting.

The dancers: They coordinate the dancing and outfits for the dancers.

Wurlitzer: How long have you been doing this tribute band for?

GeorgeRoger Wisent: The beginning of February 2008

Lia Chastity: around May of 2008.

Wurlitzer: How long does an average Gunz and Rosez tribute concert run?

Lia Chastity: Two hours plus 15 minute or so after for pictures with the band.

Wurlitzer: Whats a typical Gunz and Rosez tribute band setup like?

Lia Chastity: Our stage, Lighting, Band members and DJ. We try and have a our stage setups look as realistic as humanly possible. All the way down to the piano that Axle would play on stage and another Piano that Slash will get on for certain songs.

Wurlitzer: What are your prices?

Lia Chastity: A standard 10,000 Linden fee which includes a 5,000 Linden Deposit.

Wurlitzer: Do you listen to other tribute bands? If so, what is it you feel they are lacking?

Lia Chastity: Crowd Interaction, Authenticity of the looks, Lack of movement, and Blatant use of colorful language.

Wurlitzer: Do any of you cover other tribute bands besides Guns and Roses?

GeorgeRoger Wisent: Yes I do. The Freedom Group does GnR , Bon Jovi and another group yet to be announced.

Maska Tuck: He does his own which is Metallica, AC/DC, and Motley Crew.

Wurlitzer: What are your thoughts on prerecorded vs. live entertainment?

GeorgeRoger Wisent: We all have our own place in SL.

Prerecorded is great for those lets say have never been to a concert in their lives, or even want to relive the childhood memories.

Live performances are great for the here and now.

Wurlitzer: Whats hard about being involved in a Guns and Roses tribute band?

Lia Chastity: Finding the time for Gigs and setting it all up.

Georgeroger Wisent: Keeping the band calm and making sure everything is ready

Wurlitzer: Why a tribute band and not a live Guns and Roses tribute band?

Lia Chastity: Due to the fact for copyright infringement laws it would not be right to claim for us to be the real thing.

Wurlitzer: What's rewarding about being involved a Guns and Roses tribute band?

Lia Chastity: Personally I LOVE being part of the band the music ... GNR was my all-time favorite band. SO to me it is very rewarding to be part of it.

GeorgeRoger Wisent: The fans who relive the actual memories and tell us about it all. Than hands down is the most enjoyable thing ever.

Wurlitzer: What's one most embarrassing, Spinal Tap moment?

Lia Chastity: DJ No shows or late DJs. Forgetting the concert times or dates.

Wurlitzer: Where in Second Life have you been playing previously?

Lia Chastity: Our latest concert was at The Isle of Benu

Wurlitzer: At what time do you usually available to perform at?

Lia Chastity: We prefer to perform in the evenings US times but are flexible for the Euro crowd as well.

Wurlitzer: What does the future have in store for the Guns and Roses tribute band?

Lia Chastity: Well hopefully we do have a bright and fruitful future in SL. This is something we thoroughly enjoy.
